This is Ms.O'Rourke's first year teaching first grade at Our Lady of Tepeyac, but has been a kindergarten teacher for the last 9 years in Franklin Park, Il. She has a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education from Saint Xavier University.  Ms.O'Rourke believes the primary grades are the most important time in the foundation of the education of a student. Her goal as a teacher is to instill the love of learning in her students. Ms.O'Rourke grew up in the Chicagoland area and is a big White Sox fan. She enjoys watching basketball, cooking and most of all spending time with her children.
