Welcome to Our Lady of Tepeyac Elementary School, where a school is not just a place for learning but an extension of your family!
This year our school theme is to be a HERO, an acronym for helping everyone respect others. Our goal here at Our Lady of Tepeyac is to offer our students an enriched academic program that will serve as a building block for the rest of their academic careers. Our classroom setting is small, allowing for all the students to be able to get any necessary help from their teachers. We offer scholarships for families who would not otherwise be able to afford a high-quality Catholic education. Security is of the utmost importance because we want to make sure the students are happy and safe once they enter our building. Our Student’s safety is one of our biggest concerns, therefore we try our best to create a friendly environment where everyone feels welcomed. As a Catholic school, we practice the core values of our Catholic faith together as one community.
We pride ourselves on the advancements of our academics. We are currently entering our second year with Everyday Math and continue to improve Science by utilizing the newer resources. Building wise, we continue to improve the classroom settings with new floors and colorful painted classrooms.
We welcome parents to become an active part of their children’s education here at Our Lady of Tepeyac. Parent involvement is key to the success of our students because we cannot stress how important it is to have not only the teachers’ support but also the support of our families. The community also plays an important role in the student’s education here, because “it takes a community to raise a child”, therefore we require service hours of our students to help in the community. We want to strengthen their faith and academics through the community, and also teach the importance of giving back to the community. An example of this is the junior high students here at school donate their time to help out our parish’s food pantry and have cleaned the community park.

Bienvenidos a la escuela primaria de Nuestra Señora del Tepeyac, donde no es nada más un lugar de aprendizaje pero una extensión de su familia.

¡Bienvenido a la Escuela Primaria Our Lady of Tepeyac, donde una escuela no es solo un lugar para aprender, sino una extensión de tu familia! Este año, nuestro tema escolar es ser un héroe, un acrónimo para ayudar a todos a respetar a los demás. Nuestro objetivo aquí en Nuestra Señora de Tepeyac es ofrecerles a nuestros estudiantes un programa académico enriquecido que servirá como un bloque de construcción para el resto de sus carreras académicas. Nuestro salón de clases es pequeño, lo que permite que todos los estudiantes puedan obtener la ayuda necesaria de sus maestros. Ofrecemos becas para familias que de otra manera no podrían pagar una educación católica de alta calidad. La seguridad es de suma importancia porque queremos asegurarnos de que los estudiantes estén felices y seguros una vez que ingresen a nuestro edificio. La seguridad de nuestros estudiantes es una de nuestras mayores preocupaciones, por lo tanto, hacemos nuestro mejor esfuerzo para crear un ambiente amigable donde todos se sientan bienvenidos. Como escuela católica, practicamos los valores centrales de nuestra fe católica juntos como una comunidad.
Nos enorgullecemos de los avances de nuestros académicos. Actualmente estamos ingresando a nuestro segundo año con Everyday Math y seguimos mejorando Science al utilizar los recursos más nuevos. En lo que respecta a la construcción, continuamos mejorando los entornos del aula con pisos nuevos y aulas pintadas de colores.
Damos la bienvenida a los padres para que se conviertan en parte activa de la educación de sus hijos aquí en Nuestra Señora del Tepeyac. La participación de los padres es clave para el éxito de nuestros estudiantes porque no podemos enfatizar cuán importante es tener no solo el apoyo de los maestros sino también el apoyo de nuestras familias. La comunidad también juega un papel importante en la educación del estudiante aquí, porque "se necesita una comunidad para criar a un niño", por lo tanto, necesitamos horas de servicio de nuestros alumnos para ayudar en la comunidad. Queremos fortalecer su fe y lo académico a través de la comunidad, y también enseñar la importancia de retribuir a la comunidad. Un ejemplo de esto es que los estudiantes de secundaria de la escuela donan su tiempo para ayudar a la despensa de alimentos de nuestra parroquia y han limpiado el parque comunitario.

Our Mission
The students at Our Lady of Tepeyac Elementary School are leaders living their faith by involvement in the church, school, community and the world. Through Catholic-based education, our students will be able to reach their full potential by embracing diversity and acting for social justice, as they continue to prepare to be lifelong learners.
Our History
Established in 1927, Our Lady of Tepeyac Elementary School was previously named St. Casimir, in honor of the patron saint of Poland. The name of the school was changed to Our Lady of Tepeyac in recognition of the growing Hispanic culture.
